aloha
my name is sam peralta, a maui native, hawaiʻi state-registered marriage officiant, and pastor of 15 years, i specialize in refined elopements and private cultural experiences across Maui.
fluent in ʻōlelo hawaiʻi and guided by deep reverence for ʻāina and lineage, i curate ceremonies and journeys that are elegant, intimate, and spiritually grounded.
as a husband and father of two, i understand union as something lived not performed.
for couples seeking beauty, depth, and authenticity, this is maui held with intention.
My Story
i grew up on Maui in the plantation communities, raised close to land, family, and the rhythms of hawaiian culture. from an early age, i learned that connection is built through presence — through language, service, and showing up for people where they are. my young adult years took me into missionary work across Australia, where i deepened my calling to walk with others through faith, identity, and purpose. for the past decade i’ve served as a pastor within the Foursquare Church, while using skateboarding and surf ministry as living bridges to reach and mentor young people. i’ve also worked with Paʻia Kaiapuni School to help strengthen ʻōlelo hawaiʻi and support the next generation in reclaiming their voice and culture. today, as a husband and father of two, i carry all of this into the way i hold ceremonies and experiences rooted in ʻāina, lineage, faith, and real relationship.
